• Identity & Contact Data: Your phone number, name, and login credentials collected during registration (secured via Firebase Authentication).
• Profile & Document Data: Photos for your driver profile, vehicle documents, and licenses. This requires access to your device's Camera and Photo Library/Gallery.
• Biometric Data: We utilize face detection technology (Google ML Kit) for driver identity verification and liveness checks to ensure platform security.

B. Location Data (Crucial for Driver Operations)

• Precise Location (GPS): We collect your exact location to match you with ride requests, calculate distance, and navigate to destinations.
• Background Location: We collect location data even when the app is closed or not in use (running in the background). This is essential to track your active trips from the starting point to the destination, ensure rider/driver safety, and allow the system to dispatch nearby requests to you efficiently.

C. Device and Usage Data

• Device Information: Operating system, device model, and unique identifiers.
• App Activity: Crash reports, performance data, and diagnostics (via Firebase Crashlytics).

D. Files and Storage

• File Access: We request read and write access to your device's external storage so you can upload required verification documents and download resources using the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes, including to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
• Process and track rides and deliveries in real-time.
• Verify your identity and maintain a secure environment for riders.
• Send you crucial trip alerts and push notifications (via Firebase Cloud Messaging).
• Facilitate real-time communications for active rides (via real-time websockets/Pusher).
• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve app performance.

5. App Permissions Explained

Upon installation or during use, the App will request the following standard device permissions:

• Location (Foreground & Background): Mandatory for tracking your vehicle during a trip.
• Camera & Photo Library: Needed to capture profile pictures and take photos of registration documents.
• Storage (Read/Write): To select documents/photos from your device.
• Notifications: To alert you immediately when a new ride request is assigned.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
